Icons of England

We went first to Stratford Westfield to sort out some Ipad issues. What a big shopping centre. As much as we dislike shopping centres we had to admit it was quite amazing.
Then we caught the tube to London bridge. It is soooo cold! We spend a couple of hours looking over the HMS Belfast which is an 11,874-tonne (11,684-ton) World War II cruiser which is preserved as a floating museum run by the Imperial War Museum. It was beautifully restored and conveyed a strong picture of what it was like to be on a ship like this.
The bridge looked pretty unsophisticated compared to today's standards.
The boiler room was enormous. It went over 3 decks
After eating our sandwich on the deck, westrolled along the bank of the Thames just drinking in the atmosphere and the grandeur of Tower bridge. It must be the most attractive bridge in the world

We walked over the bridge and enjoyed seeing the Tower from many different angles.
